New Delhi, April 9: Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has unveiled the Aadhaar app, designed to enhance accessibility and security. This new application integrates ID authentication and artificial intelligence (AI), allowing Indian citizens to access digital Aadhaar services via their mobile devices.
Showing the features of the app, Vaishnaw shared a video on X, “New Aadhaar App Face ID authentication via mobile app. No physical card & No photocopies,” he wrote.
The app was developed in partnership with the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). It includes QR code based, instant verification and real-time facial recognition for authenticating individuals to verify physical photocopies or cards.
