Major bureaucratic reshuffle in state

The state government Tuesday effected a major bureaucratic reshuffle among 47 IAS and two OAS officers.
According to a notification issued by the GA&PG department, Puri Collector Chanchal Rana has been appointed as the Commissioner of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Hemant Sharma, Industries department ACS with the additional charge of Chairman of IPICOL has been allowed to remain in the additional charge of ACS of I&PR department.
Sanjeeb Kumar Mishra, Odia Language, Literature & Culture department Principal Secretary with additional charge of ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare department Principal Secretary, has been appointed as Finance department Principal Secretary. He will retain his additional charge as Chairman of IDCO. NBS Rajput, Principal Secretary to the Governor, has been appointed as Public Enterprises department Principal Secretary. He will continue holding additional charge as OSRTC CMD.
Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma, Sports & Youth Services department Principal Secretary with additional charge as OPTCL CMD, has been appointed as Excise department Principal Secretary. He will retain the additional charge of OPTCL CMD.
Roopa Roshan Sahoo, RDC (SD), Berhampur, has been appointed as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to the Governor. Sachin Ramchandra Jadhav, RDC (ND), Sambalpur with additional charge of WODC CEO, is appointed as Sports & Youth Services department Commissioner-cum-Secretary. He is allowed to retain additional charge of RDC (ND), Sambalpur and WODC CEO.
Bhupendra Singh Poonia, IPICOL MD with additional charge of Industries department Special Secretary, IDCO MD, and Skill Development & Technical Education department Commissioner-cum-Secretary, is appointed as Skill Development & Technical Education department Commissioner-cum-Secretary. He is allowed to retain additional charge of IPICOL MD.
B Parameswaran, RDC (CD), Cuttack, is appointed as ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare department — Commissioner-cum-Secretary.
