Impossible is not in our vocabulary: Samal

“Everyone should work together. ‘Impossible’ is not in our vocabulary—everything is possible. The party will firmly support the government led by Mohan Charan Majhi,” said Odisha BJP president Manmohan Samal, Tuesday.

He made the statement while addressing party workers and leaders during a grand felicitation held in his honour following his reappointment as state president for a fourth term.

Samal reflected on the BJP's journey in Odisha, noting that a party once dismissed as a ‘signboard’ by opponents has now, after years of struggle, formed a government on its own in the state.

He further stated that the BJP government will continue its journey through 2036, when Odisha marks 100 years of its formation, and 2047, the centenary of India’s Independence. “To achieve this vision, we must work with unity and team spirit,” he added.

Samal’s reappointment was announced by BJP central election observer Sanjay Jaiswal in the presence of senior party leaders at the state headquarters. Jaiswal informed that Samal was the sole nominee for the post and was therefore elected unopposed.
