H&UD Minister inspects monsoon prep in Capital

With the early onset of monsoon rains in the state, Minister for Housing and Urban Development Krushna Chandra Mahapatra reviewed the monsoon preparedness and took stock of the drainage situation in the Capital city Tuesday.
Accompanied by senior officials and engineers from Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), Mahapatra inspected several waterlogging-prone areas, including the ISKCON Temple site near Krishna Tower, Kalinga Studio Square near Ayurvedic Hospital, Rajiv Nagar, Esplanade Mall and Durga Mandap in Bomikhal and major drain channels (Drain no 9 & 4) in the City.
