Now, we've established anonymity, this saga started way back when the children became curious about the mysterious woman in the pictures adorning the dining room wall.

To add intrigue, she accompanied Uncle Maximillian and their cousins, anonymised, as Algie and Iisa.

“Why have we never seen her?” Thomas asked, and I answered: “She's always working.”

“Is she Algie’s mummy?” Emma enquired, sensing there was more than she was being told to this story.
