Warning as restaurant conned by ‘posh’ customer who couldn't pay bill

AN Indian restaurant has issued a warning to other businesses after being scammed by a “well-dressed and eloquent” man when all his bank cards were declined.

The man, described as “posh” and in his 40s or 50s, ran up a £50 bill for food and drink at Bombay Bridgford, in West Bridgford. The Post has blurred out his face for legal reasons.
The restaurant has received messages claiming the man has conned other businesses in and around Nottingham.
