Two new national names in centre talks

THE Idlewells shopping centre in Sutton-on-Ashfield is in talks with “two national businesses”.
The property agent in charge of the centre since it failed to sell says it has turned a corner.
The centre, off Market Street, is owned by London-based investment company Midos Group and managed by Davlea Estates, which bought it in April 2023.
It was put up for auction in December last year but did not sell after its price rose when it was revalued due to an increase in tenancies.
Davlea director David Reisner says the outlook is improving six months on.
