Savona joins, Hudson-Odoi gets new deal

NOTTINGHAM Forest have continued to work on getting their ducks in a row ahead of tonight's transfer deadline (7pm).

The Reds went into the final days of the window with a right-back, a left-back and a goalkeeper on their shopping list.

Nicolo Savona arrived from Juventus on Saturday to fill the right-back spot, and the club are closing in on Botafogo duo Cuiabano and John Victor to fill the remaining gaps.

Savona has penned a five-year deal to become the club's ninth arrival of the summer transfer window. Predominantly a right-back, he can also operate as a centre-back or a left-back.

"I am very excited to be her," he said.

"It is a new experience for me as a person and a player. It is such a historic club, and the move is a dream come true.
