Runway shut after emergency landing with punctured tyre

THE runway at East Midlands Airport (EMA) was closed to flights yesterday after a plane made an emergency landing.
-
A Tui flight from Corfu to Birmingham was diverted to East Midlands early yesterday afternoon. It was reported that the aircraft landed at Castle Donington at about 2.30pm.
While the aircraft was on the runway, no arrivals or departures were possible.
