Proud moment as Toot Hill tops list of 10 best Notts schools

A LIST of the top 10 best-performing schools across Nottinghamshire has been revealed in a new list by the Telegraph.

The list assesses a number of factors, from English Baccalaureate scores to pupils’ post-GCSE destinations, and puts them in a league table alongside nearby schools. It gives a score out of 40 for each school based on 10 indicators. Alongside the score out of 40, the schools are also ranked on the rate of GCSEs rated five and above.

The school topping the list in the county is Toot Hill School in Bingham, part of the Nova Education Trust. It is tied first with The West Bridgford School, on 36 points, but Toot Hill School had a slightly higher GCSE 5+ rate.
