Obsessive jealousy led to campaign of control

A JEALOUS father of three became so obsessed with the idea his partner was sleeping with her employer that he placed tracking devices in her handbag and her car.

Nottingham Crown Court heard how Ben Straw also turned up at her workplace to check up on her during a nine-month campaign of control.

The 50-year-old, of Ruddington, also took pictures of perfume bottles she used, telling her they had been moved, altered security cameras at their home to log her movements and falsely accused her of sending photographs to the other man.

In a victim impact statement, the woman told how she now feels "unable to trust anyone again".
