A NOTTINGHAMSHIRE man lost feeling from the chest down after he “misjudged” the depth of a pool in Ibiza.

Corey Green had just arrived on the island for a holiday on July 30 when the accident happened.

Mr Green was “super excited” to have reached his destination and was heading to Wayne Lineker’s O Beach club.

But, jumping into a pool, he hit his head on the bottom of it, resulting in a spinal cord injury.

He was admitted to intensive care and has since undergone an emergency operation for his spinal cord injury.

This led to the removal and replacement of his sixth vertebra.

According to Mr Lineker, who has shared a fundraising page to help bring Mr Green home, Mr Green has lost feeling from the chest down, with limited movement in his arms.
