AINA MAY NOT BE RUSHED BACK FOR SEMI SHOWDOWN
NOTTINGHAM Forest are only one win away from the opportunity to end this remarkable season with some silverware.
It has already been a campaign for the ages Trentside but Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are not done yet. The hunt for a top-five finish in the Premier League will take a backseat this weekend as the Reds turn their focus to the FA Cup.
They are in the semi-finals of the competition for the first time since 1991 and are heading back to Wembley for the first time since winning promotion there three years ago.
A repeat of that magical day in 2022 would go down a storm with the thousands of Forest fans making the trip south.
Sunday’s clash with Manchester City (4.30pm) presents a selection dilemma for head coach Nuno, though. He must find a way to get the better of a Pep Guardiola team used to competing for trophies but who have only one such shot left this term.
Full-back is a particular problem for Nuno. Ola Aina has not been involved in the last three games due to injury, while Neco Williams is suspended.
