More major roadworks to hit the QMC roundabout for 'around 12 months'

NATIONAL Highways has issued an update regarding the major works on the A52 Derby Road.

Despite signs displaying an apparent start date of April 14 for the year-long roadworks between Priory Island and QMC roundabout, it said yesterday that no start date has been confirmed.
The signs will now be removed with a start date still to be announced.
Engineers will create a new cycleway and pedestrian footpath, providing access to Wollaton Park and the University of Nottingham, and make improvements to pedestrian lighting-controlled crossings on the busy stretch.
