London operator extends its services for big game

LONDON North Eastern Railway has added extra journeys and services and will make extra stops to take Forest fans to Wembley on Sunday.

A spokesman for the operator said: “Due to planned engineering work affecting East Midlands Railway services between Nottingham and London St Pancras, we expect lots of fans to use LNER trains from Newark Northgate and Grantham to travel to London for the match.

“These stations are also likely to be busy, so please leave plenty of time to get to the station.

“If you are travelling home after the match, please check your full journey, including any connections.”
