ATLETICO MADRID WIDE MAN COULD BE TARGET BUT CUIABANO DEAL APPEARS TO BE OFF

- By SARAH CLAPSON

AN important summer window continues to be one full of twists and turns for Nottingham Forest as they reshuffle Nuno Espirito Santo's squad.

Actual incomings and outgoings have been relatively small in number so far. But the Reds have been at the centre of plenty of transfer talk and speculation.

With preseason now up and running, the focus is on getting business done ahead of the start of the 2025-26 term. Below is a look at the latest Forest news and rumours.

Winger wanted

The Reds are said to have 'expressed interest' in Atletico Madrid wide man Samuel Lino. The 25-year-old's future with the Spanish side is in doubt and he could be on the move this summer.

Marca (via Sport Witness) suggest Lino has 'no future' with Atletico. A price tag in the region of EUR20-25 million (£17-21.5m) has been mooted, with Forest and Wolverhampton Wanderers both linked with the Brazilian.

Lino who can operate as a winger, a wing-back or a fullback is said to be undecided on his future. He is not expected to be part of boss Diego Simeone's plans but he 'doesn't want to rush' making a call over whether to link up with the Reds.
