A TOWN will continue to expand after plans for 138 homes at a former colliery were approved by councillors.

Housing developer Bellway Homes (Yorkshire) applied to Bassetlaw District Council in February for the of 138 homes to be built south of Scrooby Road and north of Snape Lane, Harworth.
The plans were approved on Friday.
