You are heading out next year with new comedy tour The Fall Guy. Is comedy your first love?

Comedy is probably the bedrock of everything else that I do. It’s the thing I have done the longest as well and have the most experience in, but I kind of like everything I do for different reasons. I don’t really prioritise one thing over the other.

You have talked about your cerebral palsy in your comedy shows. Is there ever a problem with accessibility on tour?

I’m used to confronting access challenges. It becomes part of the show in certain venues because you have to make fun that the access is poor.

I've done some real what you would basically call “stunts” to get onto the stage. But I think the access in the theatres on this tour will be better than what I have been used to in the past.

What home comforts will you be taking with you?

The Desert Island Discs luxury item I think will be a little Nespresso machine that I’ve bought.
