HE DENIED SEX ATTACK BUT WAS JAILED FOR 41/2 YEARS

A MAN has been jailed after he sexually abused a woman in his car before stealing items worth £6,700 from two homes.

Nooran Nagra, 35, attacked the woman after meeting her in Nottingham.

He denied sexual assault but was found guilty by a jury after a trial that concluded earlier this year.

Following the assault in September 2022, Nagra burgled two houses, stealing electrical items, over three days last spring.

He broke into a house in Noel Street, Forest Fields, on April 15 after climbing through a window and then broke a door to get inside a property in Duke Street, Basford, on April 17.

On both occasions, he ransacked the properties and stole electronic items including a television set, a PlayStation 5, smartphones, a laptop and speakers.

These were all worth around £6,700, but Nagra also stole bank cards, which he then used fraudulently to pay for items in shops.
