Forest reportedly set to go back in for defender Gatti

Forest are said to have reignited their interest in Juventus defender Federico Gatti ahead of the summer transfer window.The 27-year-old was first linked with a move to the City Ground little more than 12 months ago. Reports from Italy suggested the Reds presented him with a “lucrative contract offer” in the 2025 winter transfer window, only for the centre-back to turn down their approach.
Apparently not deterred by the rejection, Forest reportedly had their eye on Gatti last summer amid a squad reshuffle. And it seems he is back on their radar as plans begin to be put in place for another big summer Trentside.
According to Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Get Football News Italy), the Reds are beginning to circle Gatti once again. However, they are not the only ones keen on the Italy international.
