NOTTINGHAM Panthers beat Fife Flyers 9-3 with a sparkling performance at the Motorpoint Arena in the Elite League.

Panthers were still without Otto Nieminen, Jaakko Niskala and Reid Stefanson, while Josh Tetlow also missed out after picking up an injury in Saturday night's win on the road at Manchester Storm.

Jason Grande started between the pipes with Jere Huhtamaa as back-up.

Panthers controlled the opening period and scored two powerplay goals in three-and-a-half minutes to take an early two-goal lead.
