PREMIER CLUBS CAN START BUSINESS AGAIN ON MONDAY

- By SARAH CLAPSON

First part of window done and plenty of work on cards still for Forest

THE summer's mini transfer window closed on Tuesday with Nottingham Forest one of seven Premier League sides yet to make a signing.

There will be no sense of panic at the City Ground, however. Plenty of work has been going on behind the scenes and the second half of the window is set to be much busier than the first.

Premier League clubs can start doing business again on Monday, with this year’s window split into two due to the Club World Cup. They will then have until September 1 to get deals done.

The Reds made a start on their squad reshuffle with the publication of their retained list on Monday. It was confirmed Harry Toffolo will depart as a free agent when his contract expires at the end of this month, while a new deal is on offer for Willy Boly and talks are taking place with Wayne Hennessey about his future role at the club.
