FORMER DETECTIVE INSPECTOR ACCUSED FOLLOWING WATCHDOG INVESTIGATION
A FORMER Derbyshire police officer has appeared in court to plead not guilty to causing the death of a Nottingham psychologist through dangerous driving
Ex-Detective Inspector Michael Cooper denied the charge when he appeared at Nottingham Crown Court.
Dressed in a grey suit, white shirt and dark-coloured tie, the 54-year-old also pleaded not guilty to causing serious injury by dangerous driving relating to a second alleged victim during the same incident in 2021.
