ROB Key and Richard Gould will address England’s post-Ashes review in a media briefing at Lord’s on Monday.

England chiefs will discuss winter woe

Brendan McCullum, left, and managing director of cricket Rob Key

Key, the managing director of men’s cricket, will appear alongside England and Wales Cricket Board chief executive Gould to discuss the winter's events.

The ECB briefly attempted to block contracted players from fielding questions at preseason county media days, in a bid to have senior management front up first to discuss the circumstances of a bruising 4-1 defeat Down Under.

That position was swiftly shelved after push back, with Ollie Pope, Jamie Smith and Gus Atkinson all taking part in Surrey’s event at the Oval on Monday, but the organisation has moved quickly to make Key and Gould available.
