Embankment splash pool to reopen next month

VICTORIA Embankment padding pool will soon return for a summer of splash-tastic fun.

The popular attraction will reopen next month just in time for the bank holiday weekend.
The pool, built almost a century ago in 1928, was shut in 2021 due to ongoing issues with water leaks. The facility fell into disrepair until work began at the site on July 29 last year, with the cost of the project estimated at around £750,000.
