Dolan dazzles to defend her crown

NEWARK'S Emma Dolan defended her British and Commonwealth Super-Flyweight titles against Stevenage's Lauren Parker.

The early rounds were close but Dolan's high-quality work and busier style saw her begin to pull clear of Parker from the third round and she won by unanimous decision at London's York Hall.

At the midway point, it seemed the more Parker pressed the Newark fighter, the more Dolan's combinations were doing damage as the fight wore on.

Round six was a quiet affair with Parker busier but the quality work came from Dolan, who then stepped up the pace during the seventh with some lovely combinations finding their target.
