NOTTS COUNTY
-
MARTIN Paterson says everyone at Notts County should share in the individual success of players, after one received recognition for a strong start.
Striker Matthew Dennis was named League Two's Player of the Month for August, having flown out of the traps for the Magpies as one of their many summer arrivals.
The forward had a stunning start to his time as a Magpie, bagging five goals and an assist in August. To begin the campaign, he led the line on his own for the most part.
Dennis was nominated alongside Harrogate’s Stephen Duke-McKenna, Crewe's Reece Hutchinson and Tranmere's Omari Patrick, but it was the Notts man who picked up the first Player of the Month award of the season.
