Boy, 16, dies in crash

A 16-YEAR-OLD BOY who died in a car crash has been named locally, with those living nearby calling his death a "tragedy".
The teenager, who has been named online and in tributes placed at the site in West Bridgford as "Yazan", died after a black Honda Civic hit a tree on Radcliffe Road at around 9pm on Monday.
Police said the boy died at the scene, despite the efforts of first responders.
His family has been informed and they are being supported by officers.
Two other teenage boys were hurt in the crash and one of them is being treated for a serious leg injury. It is not believed any other vehicles were involved and an investigation is ongoing.
