Boss looking to manage workload for Reds players

For Postecoglou, it is important players have sufficient recovery time to cope with increased demands. He feels it is an issue the game as a whole must address.

"It’s not just the volume of games, which I think people kind of miss the point, it’s also that players just don’t get a break anymore,’ said the 60-year-old.

“It’s no surprise to me that the clubs who played in the Club World Cup are going to have issues with their players.
