HE PINNED DOWN VICTIM BEFORE SHE BROKE FREE
A 20-YEAR-OLD man bought a one-way ticket to Nottingham and then followed a university student through the city centre for half an hour before attacking her.
Nottingham Crown Court was told Matthew Ward's terrified victim “thought she was going to be raped” when he punched her to the ground and put his fingers in her mouth.
The first year student managed to break free and found a Deliveroo driver outside Nottingham Castle who helped her home.
When the defendant was interviewed by experts after his arrest he told them how he “had feelings about wanting to hurt females who dressed nice”.
