350 further homes for expanding town?

A TOWN that is growing by hundreds of homes could expand by 350 more under new plans.
Land promoter Gladman Developments, which helps housebuilders get planning permission, has submitted plans to Mansfield District Council for 350 houses at the southern edge of Market Warsop.
The applicant hopes to be granted permission to turn 15.23 hectares of farmland off Mansfield Road into a housing development which would include affordable housing and children's play areas.
Gladman has asked the district council for a scoping opinion, with its planners asking the authority what information they need to provide on the potential environmental impact of the project, prior to the submission of an outline planning application.
