A NEW monster family attraction will be sliding into North Devon this summer just a short drive from the area's stunning beaches.

Surf buddies set to open monster new attraction

The Monster Slip and Slide is a four-lane water slide measuring at 360ft in length. It will be located between Bideford and Barnstaple just off the A39.

Owners Ian Burges and Rory Sacree already have another location in Bude, Cornwall, near Widemouth Bay that opened in July 2022 and will be opening this year in July until September.

Ian and Rory were lifeguards and surf buddies in Bude together for a number of years, they came up with the Monster Slip and Slide idea as a way to branch out. Realising that outdoor water slides are a rarity in the area, the team expanded to North Devon.
