Ayushman Bharat Rolls Out New Health Cards in Bargarh: Launch of Ayushman Bayo Scheme: 10.31 Lakh to Benefit

Bargarh: Corrosp.,11.04.25: A district-level programme marking the distribution of new Ayushman Bharat health cards and the launch of the Ayushman Bayo Yojana was organized today at the Goru Market ground in Bargarh. The event was part of the government's broader effort to expand access to quality healthcare under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY).

Gracing the occasion as Chief Guest, Bargarh MLA Shri Ashwini Kumar Sarangi emphasized the state government's unwavering commitment to public welfare. He stated that through this initiative, the governmentis ensuring free, high-quality healthcare reaches every eligible citizen. The new e-KYC-based health cards will be delivered directly to beneficiaries' homes, he added, urging the public to place their trust in the system and avail the benefits without hassle. Bargarh Collector Shri Aditya Goyal, who welcomed the gathering, highlighted that the district administration is working proactively to ensure smooth card distribution across the district. Over 10.31 lakh beneficiaries in the district will receive the new health cards.
