RIL to invest ₹20k cr over the next 3 yrs in Bengal: Ambani

Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) will invest an additional ₹20,000 crore in West Bengal in the next three years, chairman and managing director Mukesh Ambani announced on Tuesday. "West Bengal has been one of the largest investment destinations for Reliance. Reliance has invested close to ₹45,000 crore in the state," Ambani said at the 7th Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS).
The summit is the state's flagship investment summit. The two-day event will host delegates from more than 25 countries and several top business leaders from across India.
RIL's investment will be done in three areas-digital life solutions, retail and bioenergy, Ambani said.
