Top B-schools rope in career mentors to bridge the gap between students' aspirations and job market demands
India's top B-schools, including Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad, Indian School of Business (ISB), and Indian Institute of Management-Raipur, are betting on external coaches and counselors to help students become job-ready and ace placements.
The counselors work closely with students to help them better understand the job profile that would suit them, whether they have the right aptitude and attitude for certain companies, and if the compensation they expect is reasonable and in sync with the market trend, recruitment consultants and B-school officials said.
