Amazon sale fires up same-day deliveries

Amazon has reported delivering more orders faster during this year's festive season sale in India, as part of its strategy to reduce the delivery time to ensure more shoppers receive their items on the same day, or within a day or two, of ordering.
"As per initial data, it has been the fastest festive season in terms of speed, with 65% higher packages getting subsame-day and same-day deliveries in the top 10 cities this year compared to 2022," Akhil Saxena, vice president, APAC, MENA and LATAM customer fulfilment operations and worldwide customer service, Amazon, said. On 8 October, Amazon kicked off The Great Indian Festival 2023.
