Zomato, CCI Face Delhi HC Notice on Antitrust Body Plea

The Delhi high court on Monday issued a notice to Competition Commission of India (CCI) and food delivery platform Zomato on a plea filed by the National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI), challenging its exclusion from the confidential ring giving limited access to documents in the antitrust body's probe. NRAI has also urged the court to review the company's confidentiality claims.
A high court bench led by Justice Sachin Datta tagged the petition with a similar plea concerning Swiggy, in which the court had issued notice last November. Both matters will be heard together on 23 April.
