Immersing in the world of 'Despicable Me' at Universal Studios Singapore

- POCH EULALIA

What's in store for you at Minion Land?

Bello! Minions have been a pop icon mainstay ever since they first debuted in the 2010 animated film “Despicable Me.” Some find that they have even overshadowed the main cast, taking the lead role in two spin-off films, “Minions” and “Minions: The Rise of Gru.” Their popularity continues to rise as they have taken over a portion of Universal Studios Singapore, appropriately dubbed Minion Land.

Minion Land is the most recent addition to the popular Sentosa Island destination. It opened its doors last February and has since been a fan-favored addition to the theme park. Guests can enjoy three distinct areas within Minion Land: Super Silly Fun Land, Gru’s Neighborhood, and Minion Marketplace.
