PPP pipeline inches up to ®2.64T

Iloilo Global City, a mul-tibillion-peso local proj-ect aimed at developing urban centers, and 13 other projects have been added to the Public-Private Partner-ship (PPP) Center’s pipeline, which now totals P2.64 trillion.
Documents shared by the PPP Cen-ter with reporters on Wednesday, April 16, revealed that about P40 billion—or nearly two percent—was the recorded increase in the cumulative amount of proposed projects in the PPP pipeline. It stood at P2.6 trillion last month.
Proposed by Iloilo Global City Corp. (IGCC), the project amounts to P18.3 billion, nearly 46 percent of the total increase. According to the PPP Center, this project is now under evaluation by the Iloilo City government, which serves as the project’s implementing agency (IA).
