Pasig congressional bet disqualified over offensive remarks

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) Second Division has ordered the disqualification of Pasig congressional candidate, lawyer Christian “Ian” Sia, over his controversial remarks about single mothers during a campaign sortie in April.
In a resolution dated May 7, the poll body granted its motu proprio (on its own motion) petition concerning Sia's lewd remarks about single mothers, saying that those who are still menstruating can sleep with him once a year when they feel sad, as well as his comments on his female assistant's weight.
