One dead, 3 hurt in BGC construction site accident

The Taguig police said one worker died and three others were injured when an elevator core wall collapsed in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) on Monday, Oct. 20.

The accident happened around 11:10 a.m. at a construction site at the corner of 9th Avenue and Lane D in BGC.

Initial investigation revealed that while the victims were installing rebars at basement 2 of the construction site, the elevator core wall suddenly collapsed, hitting the four workers.
