Marcos: Physical national IDs to continue despite digital shift

President Marcos has assured the public that the government will continue producing physical national ID cards, even as it accelerates its digitalization efforts through the eGovPH Super App.

Marcos said this as he led the launch of the eGovPH Super App, where a digital copy of the National ID may be acquired, in San Juan City on Friday, July 18.

In his remarks, the President assured the public that, while digital services are being prioritized to meet the demands of modern governance, the production and distribution of physical IDs will continue to ensure accessibility for all sectors.
