Marcos admin set to finish three flagship infra projects in 2025

Three big-ticket infrastructure flagship projects (IFPs) are projected to be completed by the end of the year under the Marcos administration, a Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev) official announced, as the Build Better More (BBM) initiative goes on despite the corruption scandal involving “ghost” and substandard flood-control infrastructure projects.

As of the third quarter of 2025, the administration has 209 IFPs in the pipeline, with a combined project cost of P10.52 trillion, the latest DEPDev data showed.
For the three projects nearing completion, “all are expected to be completed within the year,” said DEPDev Undersecretary for Investment Programming Group Joseph Capuno at DEPDev’s year-end press chat on Monday, Dec. 1.
The three IFPs are Central Luzon Link Expressway (CLLEX) Phase 1, North Luzon Expressway (NLEX)-South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) Connector Road, and Bucana Bridge.
