DLSU sends FEU to 0-3 hole; Lady Tams take 1st win

- By MARK REY MONTEJO

De La Salle University got back on the winning track after surviving Far Eastern University, 74-72, in the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball tournament at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion in Manila Wednesday, Oct. 1.

The Green Archers shrugged off a late scare after they lost possession of an 11-point lead, 66-55, in the fourth quarter, with Mason Amos and Doy Dungo sinking their respective jumpers to help the Taft-based squad improve to a 2-1 slate.

FEU, despite the efforts of Janrey Pasaol and Jorick Bautista, fell short again and absorbed its third loss in as many games,

Dungo paced La Salle with 17 points, while Amos, Jacob Cortez, and EJ Gollena backstopped him with 14 points each.
