Talk of a Grand Slam is certainly inevitable for TNT after winning the first two of the three crown jewels of the PBA Season 49, and as much as head coach Chot Reyes wanted to not discuss it, all eyes are surely focused on the Tropang 5G.
“I guess it couldn’t be avoided at this point. I acknowledge that fact now,” said Reyes.
TNT won the Governors’ Cup and the Commissioner’s Cup both against Barangay Ginebra, needing six games to bag the first championship and then seven for the second title.
While they are in the prime position to make history, Reyes said it would be a lot harder now.
“There’s going to be tremendous pressure on us. There’s going to be a huge target on our backs,” said Reyes.
