Even before the doors opened, the buzz had already begun. A line of eager diners formed outside Gordon Ramsay's newest restaurants in Cebu's Mactan Newtown, waiting to get a taste.
Inside, media guests got an early look — and bite — into what the acclaimed British chef has brought to the island: flavor, fast service, and a menu that speaks with attitude.
The official opening on July 26 marked two milestones: Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips debuted its first location in Asia, while Street Burger by Gordon Ramsay launched its second outpost in the region. Both are located side by side on the ground floor of Belmont Hotel at Megaworld's The Mactan Newtown, a fast-developing township in Lapu-Lapu City, where media guests also stayed.
