Don't disrespect Filipinos, Marcos warns foreign vloggers

President Marcos has warned foreign vloggers against insulting or provoking Filipinos for views, saying they should not mistake Filipinos’ kindness for weakness.

Marcos issued the warning following the arrest of Russian-American vlogger Vitaly Zdorovetskiy for allegedly harassing Filipino citizens early this month.

In his latest vlog, the President lamented the trend of vloggers using shock tactics to gain attention online.

“There are vloggers who just provoke, annoy, and disrespect people to gain viewers,” he said. “Whether it’s a joke or not, which Filipino wouldn’t boil with anger at what we’re seeing?”

Marcos then warned foreigners not to take advantage of Filipinos’ kindness, saying the government would not tolerate such behavior to continue.
