The Department of Education (DepEd) on Thursday, Nov. 6, announced that it is revitalizing “DepEd TV” to help curb learning loss and ensure education continuity, especially in remote and disaster-affected areas.

DepEd has partnered with the Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI) and Solar Pictures, Inc. to strengthen the country’s flagship educational broadcast platform, which proved vital during the Covid-19 pandemic by reaching millions of students when schools were closed and internet access was limited.

Under a tripartite Memorandum of Agreement, the three institutions pledged to enhance 21st-century learning delivery, integrate media into classroom instruction, and promote content-based pedagogy.
