Cotabato sends aid to quake-ravaged Cebu

The provincial government of Cotabato is sending over 135 tons of rice and other relief assistance on Friday morning to earthquake-hit Cebu province.
In 2019, the provincial government of Cebu and city government of Cebu extended financial assistance totaling P16 million to the earthquake-hit towns of Makilala, Magpet, Tulunan, and Kidapawan.
Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office acting chief Abril Espadera said 2,000 bags of rice, weighing 50 kilos each, were from the provincial government.
An additional 1,426 bags of rice weighing 25 kilos each were contributed by 17 towns of the province and consolidated by League of Municipalities of the Philippines-Cotabato chairperson Kabacan Mayor Evangeline Pascua-Guzman.
