Caraga cops on full alert for elections

At least 6,000 policemen were mobilized to secure the elections in the region.

"Yes, we are now on full alert status, and no one is allowed to leave our respective posts," PRO 13-Regional Public Information Office (PRO 13-RPIO) chief Police Major Jennifer S. Ometer said on Sunday, May 4.

Ometer said this ensures sufficient deployment in communities.

"All of us would keep a tight watch, particularly all regional, provincial, city mobile force commanders, provincial and city directors, and municipal chiefs of police are in their respective posts to man their men on the ground," Ometer said, disclosing the strict directive of PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Christopher N. Abrahano.
